Life lessons college has taught me

College has taught me a lot in the two years I have been here. I have grow up even more than I could have imagined. It has opened my mind to things that my small town could only dream about.  There are so many things that moving away from home has taught me. It has taught me that I actually have to plan my meals or I'm not going to eat, which has happened too many times.Now, it ia the first thing I put in my planner. It has taught me that I have to plan my days out or I will get lost in the sea of work and school. It has taught me that even missing one class can make or break that Brit  Lit class. It has taught me coping mechimisms for when I become home sick. But most importantly, it has taught me that I am stronger than I think. College has taught me a greater love for myself and my community. I will always recommend college or even just moving away from home because the things I have learned by doing just that will never be able to measure to anything I've exper...

Why living on campus has benefited me.

From the moment I stepped onto campus I knew this is where I wanted to be. From the established trees to the flowers sprinkled in every direction I looked I knew at the end of my senior year of high school this would be my home for the next four years. Taking my first tour I was awestruck. South has come far in just the last 2.5 years I've lived on campus. I've even picked up on a few things, here they are. 1. The Dining Hall (We call it the Cafe), really isn't all that bad. The staff really try to make it seem like it is your home away from home. They have a survey that is sent in real time to the head of the Cafe. That means, that as soon as a survey is sent to his email he checks it. He told me once in a meeting that if he does not check it right then, then it is sent to his boss. So he always checks it as soon as it hits. They strive to make the Cafe a place that everyone will love. Everyone has a voice on what they eat. 2. My Resident Advisor really cares for...

Road to my Major, what I am looking forward to this Semester

The class I'm most excited about, and why? Anatomy & physiology II, or in  short A&P II. I think the reason this class in particulate is the one I look forward to is because it really did take a lot to get here. There are two sections to A&P that you must complete before you can apply to the Radiologic Sciences program. I am excited because by passing the first half and moving on to the final half I am now one step closer to my dream
