Road to my Major, what I am looking forward to this Semester

The class I'm most excited about, and why?

Anatomy & physiology II, or in  short A&P II. I think the reason this class in particulate is the one I look forward to is because it really did take a lot to get here. There are two sections to A&P that you must complete before you can apply to the Radiologic Sciences program. I am excited because by passing the first half and moving on to the final half I am now one step closer to my dream

Advice for Freshman Year Me.

I am currently a Junior here at South Alabama. You could say I'm a veteran of campus-life at this point. When I look back to scared freshman baby me, I see just how much I have grown. I have come a long way since then and I am super proud of it. I may have had a rough start, but boy did I learn a thing or two about adulting. The first piece of advice I would give myself is, Don't worry so much . Everything will work out in the end. You have to be willing to allow certain doors to close so others may open. If I wouldn't have done that then so many things in my life currently would have never happened. Seeing it now, if I would have been more open to change freshman year, so many more opportunities would have shown. I am glad I finally jumped out of my comfort zone to try all the new things campus has to offer. Even if it did take some time to get comfortable doing so, that's okay. Serving as a Jag

I have always had a passion for helping people around me. Whether it was in my home town, Kinston AL, during baseball/softball season at the concession stand or taking weekend trips to help local natural disaster devastation in Alabama and Florida. I have always been fueled to help others. That is why when I moved to Mobile I knew I wanted to find something down here to volunteer my time with. One day, I checked my Jag-mail to find a Daily Digest that had an AD for USA Children's and Women's looking for volunteers. While it is an extensive process that includes a background check and a few doctors appointments to make sure your shots are up to date, I knew this was the job for me.  I have been there for sometime now and would not trade it for a thing. If you are moving to Mobile and also want to give back to our wonderful community South has launched South Serves, an online database that includes numerous volunteer opportunities, all you have to do is pick your next adventure...

My favorite places on campus to study.

1. The Marx Library window. This window has seen my highs and lows. It has seen me jamming to my music and it has seen me cramming for finals. It is my favorite place because I am able to tune out the would and just look. Look at the trees, the pond, the people. Souths beauty is what drew me into campus. That is probably why it is my happy stop.  2.The Starbucks in the Marx Library Starbucks is my third home. I have had countless meetings and study dates in there. During rush hours it can get a little noisy, but once everyone has scattered to class then it becomes the perfect place to get stuff done! 3. The "Swamp" The "Swamp" is where our local wildlife live. I have spotted many cranes, turtles, and even beavers! I love to just hang out and do my readings over by the benches they have set up.   4.
